The Role
The Core Search team sits within our Performance Practice and is responsible for managing and optimising search engine performance for our clients. We manage the strategy, planning, implementation, optimisation, reporting and post campaign analysis for all search activity, paid and SEO. Within our search team, we have both Paid search & SEO specialists. We are responsible for the paid search accounts and SEO recommendations for some of Irelands leading brands, ensuring that our collective clients receive the best possible outcomes from
their investment in search advertising.
The purpose of this role is to manage the development and implementation of effective SEO strategies for our clients. Part of the remit is working collaboratively with all our Practices to create and assist in the creation of award-winning campaigns that deliver real results for our clients.
This role requires the management of paid search accounts of some of Irelands leading brands
as well as implementation, strategy and client servicing. Management of processes and
excellent attention to detail are essential to ensure best in class delivery for Core’s clients. This
role also requires strong collaboration and communication with the wider team; the relevant
client director(s) and associates
SEO Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop optimisation strategies that increase client’s website search engine
results rankings
• Identify SEO opportunities for clients and create business cases to pitch them
efficiently
• Execute tests, collect and analyse data and results, identify trends and insights
to maximise ROI
• Research and implement SEO recommendations
• Determine and report on measurable goals that demonstrate improvement
• Incorporate high quality content strategies to improve search results rankings
Day-to-Day Duties:
• Build strong relationships with clients and respond to requests in a timely
manner
• Prepare and present reports monthly
• Take a proactive approach to identify problems and implement solutions
• Collaborate with client web development and content teams where required
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in SEO and digital marketing
• Conduct basic SEO tasks like keyword research, content briefs, monthly report
Your profile
Requirements & Qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, either in-house or agency
• Strong track record for content SEO experience
• SEO technical auditing experience
• Proven track record in improving website rankings
• Experience using tools such as Semrush, Ahref, Google Search Console, GA4,
Screaming Frog, etc
• Understanding of how SEO fits into the broader marketing and advertising
landscape
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience in analysing data and deriving key insights through GA4, PowerBI,
etc
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
