The Role
We are currently looking to hire a Client Manager within our Starcom Media Team. Starcom is part of Core, Ireland’s largest marketing communications company. Our purpose is to expand the possibilities of what brands can achieve – together.

OVERVIEW
This role assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of clients’ requirements. It requires management of processes, excellent attention to detail and time management skills to ensure best in class delivery for clients.
Client Managers require strong collaboration and communication with the wider team, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and peers. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a drive to succeed and the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is central to the efficient and effective running of the day to day client service including the creation and actualisation of media plans, monitoring of POs, timely and accurate billing, creating presentations of competitor insights, ideation and working with the team to deliver innovation.
The role of Client Manager assumes the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business and marketplace
  • Ongoing day to day support to clients, with ownership of the media plan liaising with other teams across Core to connect our media strategy through to execution
  • Ensure the continuous delivery of the highest standard of output – in particular with the development and execution of our media plans and reports
  • Ensure strong and highly collaborative relationships with media owners to ensure the highest standard of innovation and delivery
  • Demonstrate regular agency commitment (passion & energy) for clients’ business with proactive thinking and added value
Your profile
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • 2-4 years media experience with a proven track record in media planning and buying
  • The ideal candidate will have a natural interest in all media channels
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must, with an ability to work easily and collaboratively with others
  • Passion to build successful client relationships
  • Knowledge of the broader digital disciplines is very beneficial
  • Previous experience in a client management role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good presentation skills
