The Role
Overview:
This role assumes responsibility for managing the integration of paid social with aspects of other media and providing social strategy insights for multiple client briefs. It requires management of the social process, excellent attention to detail, quality control and time management skills to ensure best in class delivery on behalf of the Media Team for clients. This role supports the Paid Social Client Director in fostering strong relationships with clients and the wider team in Core.
The role requires an ambitious, creative and innovative person who prides themselves on building strong and trustworthy relationships while maintaining a strong implementational output. The Paid Social Senior Manager requires strong collaboration and communication with the wider media teams, as well as the Video, Search and Programmatic teams in Performance. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast- paced environment with a drive to succeed and can multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
Responsibilities / Key Performance Indictors (KPIs):
This role will have the responsibility of developing the social media rationale for their clients which, in turn, must be aligned to the overall strategic direction of the client. This role will also be the key day to day media team contact and will ensure that all social media decisions are made using a robust process powered by the appropriate planning tools. Central to this role is a clear understanding of social media platforms and planning principles, an ability to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of each platform and the role that each will play in delivering on the overall strategy. This role will also establish the KPIs for the media plan and will ensure that all important information is clearly shown on responses to briefs for client approval.
The Paid Social Senior Manager will also manage the implementation and delivery of the social media plan and will perform the required Quality Control to ensure that the planned activity matches the media plan, rationale and the objectives set. Success will be defined at the yearend RADAR client service review in improvement in media planning and the impact of media ideas on the client’s business.
Your profile
Experience:
• 3 to 5 years previous paid social media experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in paid social buying & strategies.
• Deep understanding of paid social channels, specifically Facebook and Instagram
• Experience with budget management tracking for paid media campaigns
• Demonstrate diverse creative solution thinking
• Knowledge of the broader digital disciplines is very beneficial
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience managing large scale, complex paid social media campaigns is essential
• High level of business and financial acumen
• Possess good presentation skills – assist in presenting to clients
