Senior SEO Client Manager
The Role
The SEO team sits within the Performance team at Core, which delivers integrated digital marketing services across Paid Search, Organic Search, Paid Social, Organic Social, And Precision. As a full-service SEO team, we collaborate closely with multiple disciplines across the business, including other performance teams as well as media and advertising teams. This collaborative approach ensures that SEO is fully aligned with broader marketing strategies and delivers maximum impact for our clients.m
Overview – SEO Team & Role:
Our SEO team provides end-to-end SEO services, spanning website content writing, on-site optimisation, and technical SEO recommendations. This role is positioned within a full-service SEO team and will play a key part in delivering both content and technical SEO solutions for clients. We are seeking a candidate with 3–5 years’ experience in SEO, with a strong leaning towards technical SEO, who can contribute across all aspects of SEO delivery. The successful candidate will help elevate technical SEO standards within the business and support the ongoing development of best practices across the team.
SEO Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop optimisation strategies that increase client’s website search engine results rankings
• Identify SEO opportunities for clients and create business cases to pitch them efficiently
• Research and implement SEO recommendations
• Determine and report on measurable goals that demonstrate improvement
• Incorporate high quality content strategies to improve search results rankings
• Act as the technical SEO expert within the team, setting standards for client work and acting as a key point of contact to support and upskill colleagues in technical SEO
Day-to-Day Duties:
• Build strong relationships with clients and respond to requests in a timely manner
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications and owning client relationships based on individual needs
• Manage client accounts from both a content and technical SEO perspective, delivering full-service SEO support based on client needs
• Prepare actionable reports monthly and present findings back to clients in person
• Take a proactive approach to identify problems and implement solutions
• Proactively collaborate with other teams across the business to ensure efficiency in service delivery
• Collaborate with client web development and content teams where required
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in SEO and digital marketing
Your profile
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, either in-house or agency
• Proven track record in technical SEO, with strong knowledge of content SEO
• Proven experience managing client SEO needs in a client-facing role
• Strong track record for content SEO experience
• Proven track record in building SEO strategies across multiple industries and improving website rankings
• Experience using tools such as Semrush, Ahref, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, etc
• Understanding of how SEO fits into the broader marketing and advertising landscape
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience in analysing data and deriving key insights through various analytics tools
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
