Head of Social Creative
The Role
Most content gets ignored.
We're not interested in making more of it.
At Core Social, we've built our offering around a simple belief.
Brand gets you remembered.
Performance gets you results.
Attention Plus makes both possible.
Because in a world where everyone is creating content, attention has become the most valuable thing a brand can earn.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Head of Social Creative to join our multi-award-winning Social Content team, working with some of the biggest brands in Ireland and beyond.
Someone who believes social deserves big ideas.
Someone who understands that the best work doesn't interrupt people—it earns their attention.
Someone who's as obsessed with the trials and tribulations of life in Ireland as they are creativity.
The Opportunity
This is about leading the creative craft of Core Social.
Working in close partnership with our Director of Social Content Experience and Social Strategy Director, you'll transform strategic insight into social-first creative that earns attention.
While the Social Strategy Director defines the strategic opportunity & has ongoing input into social creative, you'll define the creative response – bringing ideas to life through platform-native storytelling, creator thinking and social-first execution.
Together, you'll shape campaigns, always-on content and creator collaborations that feel native to the platform, authentic to the brand and genuinely interesting to the audience.
You'll help define what great social creativity looks like – not just for Core Social, but for our clients too.
What You'll Do
Lead Social Creative
You'll lead the creative development of social-first ideas across our client portfolio.
From always-on content platforms to integrated campaigns, you'll create ideas that people actually want to watch, engage with and share.
Not because they've been targeted.
Because they're worth paying attention to.
You'll provide creative direction throughout concept development and production, ensuring every idea remains strategically informed while feeling culturally relevant and unmistakably social-first.
Raise the Creative Standard
You'll set the creative benchmark for Core Social.
You'll challenge average ideas.
Champion better ones.
Push for work that's braver, sharper and more platform-native.
You'll know when something feels like advertising.
More importantly, you'll know how to make it feel like social.
Creative Leadership
You'll mentor and inspire creative talent across the Social Content team, helping people think bigger, execute better and continually raise the bar.
You'll work closely with our Content & Community Lead, ensuring brilliant ideas become brilliant execution.
You'll collaborate with Core Creative, Performance and Strategy because the best work never happens in silos.
Most importantly, you'll become the creative authority within Core Social—helping shape the standard of work we're known for.
Stay Curious
Social changes every day.
So will you.
You'll keep one eye on creators, culture and emerging platforms, constantly bringing fresh thinking back to our clients and our team.
Not because it's trendy.
Because staying relevant is part of the job.
Your profile
Someone who understands that social isn't another advertising channel.
It's where attention is won or lost.
You've probably spent years creating social-first work that audiences genuinely engaged with.
You know the difference between chasing trends and creating relevance.
You care about storytelling.
You care about craft.
You care about making every piece of work feel like it belongs on the platform—not adapted for it.
Most importantly, you're ambitious.
Not just for yourself.
For the work.
For the team.
Because we're building the most ambitious social offering in the country.
And we're looking for someone ambitious enough to help us build it.
Why us?
We're building something different.
A specialist social offering where strategy, creativity, creators, community and performance don't compete – they make each other better.
A place where ideas move quickly.
Where experimentation is encouraged.
Where social-first thinking influences everything we do.
And where ambitious people get the opportunity to shape what's next.
We're not looking for someone to fit into Core Social.
We're looking for someone who'll help define what Core Social becomes next.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, let's talk.
